Our Impact – VBA level
Through our Approach we are creating self-employment opportunities for Village-based Advisors to supply inputs and advice to small-holder farmers.
FIPS-Africa’s small pack method is succeeding in rapidly creating demand for inputs amongst small-holder farmers at the Village level.
In Tanzania, because there are few farm input suppliers at the Village level, Village-based Advisors are rising to the challenge and are emerging as Agro-dealers to supply seeds and fertilizers to farmers to help them increase the productivity of their maize and rice crops.

In rice-growing areas, VBAs are also succeeding as becoming Agro-dealers and also as producers and sellers of Quality-declared rice seed.
