Peter Githiri is the Programme Manager for the Eastern and Coastal regions at FIPS Africa. He provides strategic leadership and oversees programme management to ensure effective implementation and long-term sustainability of initiatives. Peter contributes to advancing market systems-based approaches and building partnerships that strengthen farmers’ livelihoods and promote diversification. His background in agribusiness and rural development supports the development of practical, scalable models that can be easily adopted by farmers and other actors along the value chains. His passion for systems approaches and the transformation of rural economies into sustainable and resilient ones plays an important role in advancing the organisation’s goals and impact.
