FIPS Africa is the partner of choice for actors committed to transforming food security and building resilient markets in smallholder communities.
FIPS co-designs practical curricula, builds demonstration sites, delivers hands-on training, and supports student agri-business start-ups. Our partnerships provide young people with the practical, market-ready skills required for self-employment and enterprise growth.
Across Africa, thousands of young people complete agricultural and technical courses annually. However, many graduates lack the hands-on, market-ready skills to start or sustain successful agri-enterprises. FIPS partners with colleges and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) institutions to bridge this gap, preparing the next generation for self-employment, building Africa’s next generation of agri-professionals.
FIPS partners with three TVET institutions to equip young people with practical, market-ready skills through curriculum co-design, hands-on training, and field-based demonstrations that bridge classroom learning and real-world agri-business success.
FIPS supports onboarded trainees’ transition into entrepreneurship and professional practice – launching new careers and partnership with TVETs.
