To complement our field-based programmes, FIPS is developing a suite of digital learning modules. This platform translates our proven face-to-face extension models into a scalable, accessible format.
Combining community-based approaches with digital extension to reach more households at lower cost. Digital content provides farmers with practical, easy-to-understand guidance on soil health, improved varieties, climate-smart practices, and high-value crops and livestock management.
Smallholder farmers have access to FIPS TV.
Village-based Advisors (VBAs), Youth Enterprise Facilitators, Farmer Research/Learning Network delivery teams and Farm Business Agents use these modules to reinforce their technical training and improve service delivery in the field.
FIPS provide Training of Trainer (ToT) materials and strategic lessons, allowing partners to customise FIPS’ proven methodologies for their specific country contexts.
