FIPS is committed to tracking income over time

Levels of income

FIPS helps people achieve their income goals. Goals might be realising the full economic potential of their land or business, saving to return to education, or starting an enterprise outside agriculture. FIPS has devised six levels of income from Struggling to Excelling. Thriving is the critical level where families become more resilient. Some people work through all the levels — others are happy to mix a level of income with other responsibilities. These personas are exemplars of what each level might look like; they are archetypes, not based on real individuals.
