FIPS Africa has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, child labour, forced labour, and bonded labour in all its operations and relationships. The organisation is committed to ethical conduct, respect for human rights, and compliance with national labour laws. All employees are treated with dignity and fairness, with no discrimination, harassment, or exploitation tolerated. Workers must receive fair wages, legal contracts, and lawful working conditions, with no unlawful deductions or retention of identity documents.
Employment must always be freely chosen. The policy applies to all staff and associated persons and is supported by related codes and procedures, including recruitment, grievance handling, whistleblowing, and disciplinary policies. Systems and controls are enforced to prevent abuse and ensure accountability.
