Reporting concerns whistleblowing

At FIPS Africa, we aim to do the right thing — always. We work to high standards and take any concerns about misconduct, safeguarding, or poor practice seriously.

We want everyone we work with to feel valued and respected; confident that any advice or support provided is in their best interests; and assured that their information is handled safely and responsibly.

If something does not feel right, we encourage people to speak up. Sharing concerns helps protect farmers, families, communities, partners, and FIPS itself.

FIPS has an independent Board member who acts as Safeguarding Officer. Their role is to make sure concerns are handled fairly, respectfully, and in confidence.

You can report concerns in confidence by emailing: whistleblow@fipsafrica.org

You do not have to give your name. All concerns are treated with care. If more information is needed to understand or address an issue properly, the Safeguarding Officer may ask to speak with you, but this will always be done sensitively and with respect for your safety and wishes.

All FIPS policies can be seen in our publications section.
